Living in Budapest, Anastasia Razvalyaeva divides her time between performing and teaching. Anastasia was born in Russia, in 1993 her family moved to Hungary, where she began learning the harp with her mother, Natalia Gorbunova. She continued her studies with Melinda Felletár at the Liszt Ferenc Conservatory in Szeged, and in 2011 she gained a Masters’ Diploma at the Liszt Academy in Budapest under the guidance of Andrea Vigh. Anastasia earned her Doctor of Liberal Arts degree in 2019.
As a soloist Anastasia has performed with several Hungarian orchestras. Amongst her achievements are national and international solo and chamber music competitions, as well as acknowledgements such as the Junior Prima Award (2011), the Fischer Annie Scholarship (2015), or the UNKP Scholarship (2022). In 2020 Anastasia received Kult50 Award for performing Schubert’s songcycle „Winterreise” with soprano Emőke Baráth, directed by Eszter Novák, at the Solti Hall in 2018 and 2020. In 2024, she received the Artisjus Performing Artist Award for performing and promoting contemporary Hungarian works.
Anastasia enjoys collaborating with composers and takes part in numerous contemporary projects, such as Duo SeRa saxophone and harp duo, commissioning new pieces. Her experimental trio project with jazz musicians, Veronika Harcsa and Márton Fenyvesi released an album, Debussy NOW! in 2021 by the BMC Records. In 2025, the same label released Schubert NOW!, created in collaboration with Veronika Harcsa and composer Bálint Bolcsó.
Since 2012 Anastasia has been teaching at the Franz Liszt Music Academy and since 2020 at the Szent István Király Music Highschool. She has given masterclasses in Hungary, as well as at Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (2017, 2023) and at Zagreb Academy of Music (2021).
Anastasia is a keen organizer of cultural events in Hungary: she is the artistic director of the International Harp Competition in Szeged, which was established in 2007, and has been organizing educational projects for young harpists in Hungary. Anastasia has been jury member at the National Polish Harp Competition in Bielsko-Biała (2023), at the 10th Szeged Altamira International Guitar Competition and the 2nd Ceren Necipoğlu İstanbul International Harp Festival and Competition (2025).
